Recently, I was shopping for new tennis shoes and ran across a pair I really like, but the price was ridiculous. I tried them on and they felt really good, but I just could not afford to pay the price they were asking. I can’t believe what tennis shoes cost these days. A few weeks ago I was watching the news on www.direct.tv about these new Nike tennis shoes that glow or something, for adults no less. People were not only standing in line for them but actual fighting broke out in the line. Can you believe adults fighting over tennis shoes? What is our world coming to? I like nice looking comfortable shoes that don’t show dirt and look stylish, but I could never pay one hundred dollars much less two hundred dollars for a pair of tennis shoes. That’s the price they were asking for these shoes. The worst part is these shoes are not going to last that long and are prime targets to be stolen. People will steal anything these days.
