Playtime Is Growtime
Toddlers love to explore things with a lively curiosity. My son pulls and tugs on everything in the house. I always make sure that our house is childproof but it’s hard otherwise I will be crying “no-no” and slapping my son’s tiny hands, and in the process curbing curiosity the same curiosity that can make our child successful in school and in later life. We can be protective but not overprotective. We can give them their freedom by letting them explore outdoors like in a parks which eventually will help flourish their imagination. It’s really amusing to watch your toddler mingle with other kids and play with them, they some times play make believe. It’s nature. We have to think that playing is really essential for their development. In other words, if we rob a child’s proper playtime it will limit his growth of mind and body, emotions and spirit. So let them explore and play around!
